A family that doesn’t just function;
they flow
Each of you have a role. Here’s how to roll with it.
Join us the first Thursday of every month at 12PM EST to explore your family dynamics through the lens of Human Design.
90-Minute Workshop
We explore the mechanics of a family unit - a “penta” as Human Design calls it - and why each addition to a family matters so much. We’ll look at the unique designs of each of your family members to see what role they have to play in the family design.
Individual and Family Charts
After the call, you’ll be provided with the session recording as well as each of your family member’s individual charts and the composite design of your family unit — your family penta chart.
Family Limit - Only 8/workshop
In order to individualize the workshop and offer one-on-one attention to each family, the workshop is limited to only 8 families per call. If this month is already full, go ahead and reserve your spot on the next call!
There are 12 potential gaps in each family system…
When we look at family mechanics through a Human Design lens, we look at 12 mechanical pieces that point to a stable family aura. The gaps between those pieces are where the tension lives. Where the stress creeps in. Where things feel harder than what you experienced when it was just you and your partner.
If you are struggling in your relationship, let me remind you: your relationship isn't failing… The rules just changed. And each gap you have points to its own challenges.
This workshop will teach you…
How the individual design can be overridden by the family mechanics
Why certain family members feel exhausted being in the group vs. one-on-one
Why a child or partner may be pulling away or feel excluded
What happens to the family dynamic when someone leaves (college, travel, divorce, etc)
Who naturally sets the rhythm, holds traditions, plans for the future, or speaks for the family
Why some people attract groups effortlessly and why others avoid them
After the call, you’ll also receive a complimentary PDF of each of your family member’s individual designs as well as your family chart.
Chart Value $37
"The family Penta workshop reaffirmed our pain points — and revealed our strengths. My husband and I both bring rhythm and flow, my toddler is our natural spokesperson, and suddenly so much makes sense. Diederik delivers aha-moments every time!”

Our Family
Tori (my partner) and I became parents in the fall of 2025. All of a sudden we had a little girl in our arms, and her arrival made us question everything we thought we knew about each other. Our partnership was thrown into the land of penta, and we struggled. It’s a lot to figure out all at once.
Human Design gave us a language to understand the tension we were feeling — beyond the sleep deprivation and alone-time crisis. We have 5 gaps in our penta, and we feel each one. Understanding where are gaps lie keep us from placing personal blame on each other. It keeps the pillar of our relationship strong.
Let’s be honest. Parenting is hard. Let Human Design help.

A regular Human Design reading tells the full story of how you operate. The family penta only looks at 12 specific points in that chart. A lot of who you are may have nothing to do with your family role.
-
A penta is the energetic field that forms when 3–5 people are together. A family of 3 or more automatically fits this qualification. It operates by its own rules only looking at a specific portion of the Human Design Bodygraph/chart. You can think of a penta as an invisible force that holds the group together and shapes how people interact.

There are 12 potential gaps. It’s not a problem if you have one or even several. It just means that the focus will be on those areas.
The 12 pieces of a penta are: Inner Flow, Home, Discovery, World, Demands, Material, Future, Discipline, Past, Tradition, Present, and Demonstration -
No, not at all. It’s best if at least one parent can attend the call to receive the information live. You will have the call recording for life.

No, some families have a configuration that fills every role. However, it’s still useful to know who fills what role because any time a person leaves, they take their role with them. No gaps also doesn’t mean no tension. A family with no gaps can still have all the same frustrations that a family with 5 gaps does.
